Pine Cone Themed Christmas Table Arrangement !!:)

Last ten days was  frustrating, devastating, annoying, irritating.....should I stop now???...

Well the story is here :
My two laptops, one..the four years old IBM Think Pad and the other is just one year old DELL  managed to gave me immense troubles during all these days!!....First the problem started with DELL....then I had to switch to the older one, (which was not in a very good condition...though it could serve as a stand by).....but no luck!!...it also followed the same path :(....And I was in complete mess....On top of all these hubby was in Kuala Lumpur on his usual business trip, so neither I got his laptop to share/use...nor his help to resolve those technical problems....:(!!!

Now, he is back in Singapore and thanks to his IITan brain...has fixed the IBM one but the DELL one (which I love to use most) has to go to DELL Lab .....it is having a number of hardware problem(s)..!!!


So, my lovelies this was the story in short....was unable to put up a single post!....extremely sorry for my absence from blog land...and I really really missed all your beautiful blogs !!!


Now, another news : We are leaving for India on this weekend.....yup, for the winter break...Yippee...!!!
Will be back in a few weeks time!!....So, I will be a little irregular ...please bear with me for this short period :)!

Well, since we are leaving shortly,  already have started our Christmas celebration(s) early in Singapore...
Today, am going to share with you some decor tips from  my Pine Cone Christmas Table Arrangements which I have done on last Sunday evening ....Yes, on Advent :)!!!

I was planning for a beautiful post on Thanksgiving...but you know I have missed it :(...May be next year will plan for it!...Hope , all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday !!

Now, I have to leave for packing and all that ...hmmm!!!...Super excited for the upcoming India visit....will try to come back soon with some Colourful Holiday Posts from Singapore! !

A Beach Themed Table Top....Happy Diwali :)

Oh..The last weekend...!! was really really busy....though normally my weekends are super hectic...with all those crazy to do lists, shopping, kids, their homework, outings and all that ;)....but this Pre-Diwali-Weekend was MAD!...TRULY!!.... I had to finish  my DIY projects before Diwali...it was my promise to me ..:)....and all those cleaning and gifts and shopping and all....am running too late for this time...and don't know how will finish..:(

After the maddening weekend I set up this Diwali Themed Decor for a soothing evening....

A Beach Themed Table Top.... The Last Sunday Night....and my home-sweet-home !!!

Tea light candles....wine glasses...candle holders, a little(blue) glass duckling....blue hues, shells and pebbles....white Orchids...some soft music at the background....just to set the festive mood.... and ....here it goes..:)

A Small Corner Tabletop !!:)....

This is another small 'Corner Table' in our living room...which is very simple yet use full at the same time!:)...I  always LOVE to change the table settings in my home....yes, frequently!!....the small changes here and there makes a big difference in day-to-day life..so, I keep changing the decor!.....
This particular table usually holds an old teapot, some books/magazines, sometimes a few candle holders,small nick knacks,dried flower petals,some hand loom products....yes, all depends on my mood!:).... and of course some bright colours, vibrancy, love and warmth!!:)

A cozy corner in my kitchen...a tabletop... Red 'n Black vase from Thailand (well a recent purchase from Phuket, Thailand)....my new found 'spatula holder' !:)...some colours and inspirations...a regular day in Singapore :)

Silver and Silk...An Indian Tablescape on the 'Autumn Festive Season' !!:)

                                                                                                                                                            
Autumn is synonymous to festivals :)....Here, in Singapore autumn means Kite Festival, Moon Festival, Lantern Festival...well the list is long !!...and you know Singapore always loves to be dressed like a Queen :)
Also, back home in India, autumn means all the festivities...it starts with Janmashtami and Ganesha Chaturthi
then Nav Ratri, Durga Puja, Dashera , Diwali....yes it is a tooo... long list and we Indians love to celebrate life!
What is autumn in East... is Fall in West....a crisp in air!....a melody ;....a pleasant weather....leaves are falling...a fragrance !....and the yellow!...the yellowish colour !...on the fallen leaves...on pumpkins...on fruits...on everything...with a happy happy note....a merriness in the atmosphere :)

Here, I have arranged an Autumn (Fall) Tablescape on Indian Theme !!...With loads of colours and fabrics...Indian silver wares....silver spoons and bowls...silver diyas(Indian oil lamps) ....table vignettes...candle holders...silks and silks....with a dash of YELLOW here and there...with a happy tune :)...pujas and celebrations!!...family and friends....and home made good foods...with loads of  love, warmth and care !!
